• Usage in Cold/Hot Process Soap: Mix the mica with a small amount of oil from your soap recipe and add it at emulsion or trace. Maximum usage is 1–2% of total oil weight. Use approximately 1–2 teaspoons (5–10g) for every 500g of oils.

• Usage in Melt and Pour Soap: Disperse the mica in a small amount of rubbing alcohol and add to the melted soap base. Recommended usage is 0.5–1% of soap weight, or about ½ to 1 teaspoon for 500g of soap. Transparent bases may require less; white bases may require more for visible color.

• Other Uses: Can also be used as a pigment in painting, crafts, and other art applications.

• Usage in Lotions, Creams, Scrubs, etc.: Add during stick blending for even distribution. When using pre-made bases, first disperse the mica in your fragrance or essential oil and blend well with a spatula. Maximum usage is 0.1–0.2% of total product weight (less than ¼ teaspoon per 500g of product).
